How does redaction work? Will my hidden data be truly secure?
When you use the ⬛ Redact tool, a solid, non-transparent vector box is baked directly into the output PDF stream over the selected area. This physically obscures and blocks the underlying coordinate region in the exported document.
Does this tool add a watermark to my edited PDF?
No. Your exported PDF contains no watermarks, branding, or restrictions. It is completely clean and ready for legal, professional, or academic use.
