This policy explains what happens to your data when you use microtools365. The short version: there isn't much to explain, because almost nothing leaves your device.

No accounts, no sign-up

microtools365 doesn't have user accounts, logins, or registration of any kind. There's no personal information — name, email, phone number — collected through the site itself, because there's nowhere on the site that asks for it.

Your files never leave your browser

Every tool that works with your files or images — Image to PDF, Merge PDF, Split PDF, Excel to PDF, the Image Editor, and similar tools — processes everything locally, inside your own browser, using JavaScript. Nothing you upload into these tools is transmitted to any server, including ours. If you closed your internet connection partway through using one of these tools, it would keep working — that's how local the processing is.

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic — things like which pages are visited and roughly how many people visit each day. This analytics tool does not use cookies and does not track you individually across sites. It reports anonymized, aggregate numbers, not a profile tied to you personally.

Local storage (dark mode)

If you toggle dark mode, your preference is saved using your browser's local storage — a small piece of data kept entirely on your own device, so the site remembers your choice next time you visit. This is never sent anywhere, isn't accessible to us, and isn't used for tracking. It exists purely so you don't have to re-toggle dark mode every visit.

External links

The site links out to a couple of external services — a Ko-fi page if you'd like to support the project, and a mailto link for feedback or tool requests. Once you click through to Ko-fi or open your email client, you're subject to that service's own privacy policy, not this one.

No advertising, no ad tracking

There are currently no ads on this site, and no advertising or tracking scripts of any kind beyond the analytics described above. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated to reflect it before any such change goes live.

Children's privacy

This site isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect any information from anyone, regardless of age — which follows naturally from not collecting personal information from anyone at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change too. Meaningful changes will be reflected here as soon as they take effect.
