microtools365 is a small, growing collection of free online tools — calculators for everyday finance and tax questions, document converters, text utilities, and a few generators — built to do one job well each, without getting in your way.

What it's trying to be

Most "free tool" sites online are cluttered with ads, force you through a sign-up wall for basic features, or bury the actual tool under paragraphs of SEO filler before you can use it. This site is a deliberate reaction to that: no accounts, no paywalls, no dark patterns. You land on a tool, you use it, you get your answer.

A meaningful share of the tools lean toward India-specific needs — GST, EMI, SIP, income tax, in-hand salary — because that's the audience this was originally built for, and because good, ad-free versions of these calculators were genuinely hard to find.

What it's not

This isn't a replacement for a chartered accountant, a financial advisor, or a doctor. The calculators here are built to be accurate and transparent about their assumptions, but they're estimation tools — for anything with real financial, legal, or medical consequences, treat the output as a starting point for a conversation with a qualified professional, not the final word.

Who's behind it

microtools365 is an independent, one-person project — built, maintained, and occasionally broken and fixed again by someone who goes by astronautx. It's kept intentionally low-key: no personal branding, no portfolio pitch, just the tools themselves.

Privacy, by design

Every document and image tool on this site — PDF merging, splitting, image editing, format conversion — runs entirely inside your browser. Nothing you upload into these tools is ever sent to a server. That's not a marketing claim; it's simply how the tools are built, using client-side JavaScript libraries rather than any backend processing.
